Publication Ethics and Research Integrity

Originality

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and should not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal.

Academic Misconduct

Duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct are unacceptable.

Plagiarism Screening

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using professional plagiarism-detection software as part of the journals editorial assessment process.

Ethical Publishing

The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of the academic record and handling publication-ethics concerns in a fair and responsible manner.

RESEARCH INTEGRITY

Research Misconduct

The journal considers the following practices unacceptable and may take appropriate editorial action when concerns are identified.

Presenting the work, ideas, words, data or material of others without appropriate acknowledgement or attribution.

Reusing substantial portions of previously published work without appropriate disclosure, acknowledgement or justification.

Creating or reporting research data, results, observations or information that do not exist.

Manipulating research materials, processes, data, results or reporting in a misleading manner.

Submitting or publishing substantially the same work in more than one journal or publication without appropriate disclosure.

EDITORIAL RESPONSE

Handling concerns about misconduct

Any suspected case of publication misconduct or research-integrity concern will be considered by the journal and may be investigated in accordance with applicable publication-ethics principles and the journal's editorial procedures. Where misconduct is established, appropriate action may be taken to protect the integrity of the academic record.

FOR AUTHORS

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions meet the journal's standards of originality, accuracy, transparency and responsible scholarly communication.

Submit only original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Do not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to another journal.

Properly acknowledge and cite all sources, ideas, data and materials used in the manuscript.

Ensure that research findings, methods and data are reported honestly and accurately.

Disclose relevant information that may affect the integrity or assessment of the manuscript.

Cooperate with the journal during editorial review and any investigation concerning publication ethics.
